Write to the editors
The editors read every message sent through the form on this page or by email to info@huetourism.com. Corrections matter most to us, but questions about a page and advertising enquiries are welcome too.
How to reach us
Use the form below, or write to info@huetourism.com. Both reach the same editors. We do not publish a phone number and do not take calls; replies come by email.
Please write in English if you can. Short messages in Vietnamese are fine too, and we will reply in English.
Corrections
Ticket prices, opening times and festival dates in Hue change, and visitors who have just stood at the ticket counter are often the first to know. A useful correction answers four questions:
- Which page, and which sentence or table row?
- What did you find instead?
- When did you find it? The date matters, because prices and hours change.
- How do you know? A link to an official notice, a photograph of a price board, or what happened at the gate.
We check each correction against a source before the page changes. Confirmed corrections are listed in the corrections log on the about page.
Questions about a page
If something on a page is unclear, ask. If several readers ask the same thing, the page needs rewriting, and we will do that. We can explain what a page says and where its figures come from; we cannot plan your trip for you, book anything, or recommend a particular hotel, restaurant, guide or tour company.
For questions about your own booking, contact the business you booked with. For tickets, use the official ticket counters or the Conservation Centre's e-ticket service.
Advertising enquiries
The guide carries advertising in spaces labelled "Advertisement", separate from the editorial text. If you would like to discuss advertising, choose "Advertising enquiry" in the form or write to the address above with a short description of what you have in mind.
Advertising does not buy a mention in the text of any page, a change to what a page says, or a place in any list. We do not publish rankings, so there is nothing to be placed in. If that suits you, we are glad to hear from you.
What we cannot help with
- Emergencies. If you are in difficulty in Vietnam, contact the local emergency services and your embassy or consulate.
- Bookings, refunds or complaints about a business. Contact that business directly.
- Live flood and weather updates. Use official weather services and follow local authority instructions.
- Visa and immigration questions. Use the official Vietnamese e-visa portal or an embassy.
How replies work
Messages go straight to the editors. If your message needs an answer, we reply by email to the address you give. We do not promise a reply time: checking a correction against a source can take longer than answering a question.
We do not publish your name or your message. If a correction you send is used, the page credits "a reader" unless you ask to be named. The privacy page lists the fields the form collects and what happens to them. The required fields are the subject, your name, your email and your message; the page you are writing about and the date of your visit are optional but help us check.
Before you write
Check the "last checked" date under the section you are writing about. If that date is more recent than your information, the page may already reflect the change. If the official source linked there says something different from the page, that is exactly the kind of report we want.
Common questions
Questions readers ask
How quickly do you reply?
We reply by email when a message needs an answer, without a fixed time. Corrections are checked against a source before the page changes.
Can I phone the editors?
No. The guide works by form and email only, and replies come by email.
Can you book a tour or tickets for me?
No. The guide does not sell or book anything. Tickets for the monuments are sold at the gates and through the official e-ticket service.

Tell us which page and which line, what you found at the ticket gate, on the river or on an official notice, and when. A link to the source helps us check it.
